Coronavirus: life changing; arguably the most impactful event of our times. However, in the face of adversity and crisis, it has seen people working for the greater good, and brought people together in the most difficult of times. And the drought in the Chronicles of 'Disabled' Nextdoor has come to an end. Communications have resumed with our neighbour. Some of you may remember, that 'Disabled' rendered his garden completely out of bounds by installing a human sized game of Mouse Trap out of rotten wood. It is entirely understandable that he'd want to maximise the space in his garden during the imposed lockdown. I hear a voice from over the fence: 'Disabled': "Hey Leah" Me: "Oh. Hi?" After hearing sawing and hammering all day, I felt I should mention how busy he sounded. 'Disabled': "Yeah. Im making my shed smaller" Me: "What?" 'Disabled': "Im making my shed smaller. Give us a bit more room... somewhere to sit" Now, I am not an architect, or a landscape gardener - but Im damn sure if he put all of today's energy into removing or FINISHING the decking, they'd have somewhere to sit in the garden? No. He's taken 60cm off the shed.
