Brexit.... means er..... Brexit

One morning in 2016, it was announced that UK was leaving the EU. Steve Nextdoor (SND) caught me as I was returning home from work on the day of the announcement. SND: "Yeah, I voted 'leave'. Gotta do something about these immigrants" Me: "Oh god...please" SND: "Mark my words, once we leave, all the others will follow. Switzerland will be next" Me: "Switzerland are not in the EU.." 'SND: "See! They've already left! What does that tell you?" Me: "They've NEVER BEEN IN THE EU" 'SND: "Good job they've left then." Me: "Oh God... make it stop!"

SND: "The others will follow. You heard it hear first"
